The Pivot

As the School turned seventy years young, we felt the impulse to celebrate and create a snapshot of campus in that moment. Building upon earlier advertising films and ephemera from the archives, The Pivot documents the participants, faculty, and staff of 2015 as they move across and within the landscape: making, playing, and living side-by-side. The voices of key figures from the history of the organization intersperse the new footage. Included are oral history excerpts with David Driskell and William King, and an interview with Suzanne McClelland.

Interviews by Liza Zapol and RAVA Films. Produced by RAVA Films and Wesley Miller. This film was made possible with thanks to Jan Aronson.
