In this talk, Autumn Knight and Chelsea Knight tell the audience two personal stories, what they deem,”Latent and manifest. This is our hysterical story (hysterical in the Freudian sense), the story of our alliance, our fraudulence, our transgression, our passive aggression, our competition, our sexuality (or rather hypersexuality), and our relation to the world, as women. How we relate to one another has everything to do with how we relate to you, and who YOU are defines everything, because I am only NOT YOU, and you are only NOT ME.”
About the series:
Staging Sex, Staging Self is a series of artists’ talks that move over and under the line where the body meets language and where that same body asks, “how is it that I am this way?” This series hinges on the production of gender, theatricality, and culture.
