William Zorach, Visiting Artist Lecture 1953

Sculptor William Zorach reads two unpublished articles, the first on “what makes an artist,” and the second on “where is sculpture today,” followed by a question and answer period and a slide show with commentary of sculptures from diverse times and cultures. Some attention is paid to the sculptor’s opinions of Mondrian. The recording for the lecture has suffered some minor losses.
