Teddy Cruz, Paul Mellon Distinguished Fellow Lecture 2010

Architect Teddy Cruz, discusses the discoveries made, lessons learned and principles developed as he and his university students assessed issues of density and use in San Diego-Tijuana neighborhoods in an effort to enable the reframing of city codes to more accurately reflect these issues. He also shares what he learned from a group of San Diego teenagers about creativity and process in their successful effort to convince the city to allow them to build a skateboard park under a freeway.
