Sanford Biggers, Visiting Artist Lecture 2010

Artist Sanford Biggers shows a generous selection of his videos, installations, sculptures, public art, and performance work, along with commentary on the personal experiences and varied cultural influences which inform his work. Questions at the end of the lecture range from clarification of very specific titles and references to the artist’s thoughts on universality in art, coded references, his art in relation to diverse audiences, and the reasoning for choosing among the various media he uses for a given project.
