Philip Pearlstein, Visiting Artist Lecture 1986

Painter Philip Pearlstein presents his artistic autobiography and information about the art world as he knew it through World War II, interspersed with examples of his own work and that of other artists. This is followed by slides illustrating the processes he uses to make lithographs and aquatint etchings. Particular attention is accorded to his interest in the nude figure and his insistence on working from the live model.
