Luca Buvoli, Fresco Lecture 2009

Artist Luca Buvoli shows slides of his posters, comic book series, marquees and animations in his extensive Not-A-Superhero work, as well as more recent exhibitions dealing with issues of Fascism, Futurism and the writings of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti. During the questions which follow he is asked about the relationship between his choice of materials and what he is trying to convey; his thinking about the concepts of past and future; his research and development practice; what sort of work might be forthcoming; and how he thinks his art addresses political subject matter.
