Louise Fishman, Visiting Artist Lecture 2012

Lecturing at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, artist Louise Fishman shows selected bodies of work and shares autobiographical information on such subjects as her art education; feminism; her family; and her Jewish heritage as they have impacted her work. A painter’s painter, she acknowledges artists who have influenced her and stresses scale as an important element of her abstract painting.
