Les Levine, Visiting Artist Lecture 1970

Artist Les Levine begins his lecture by describing a conceptual piece that he did at the University of Toronto called Red Tape. This is followed by a presentation of his views on the changing role of art (i.e., there is no good vs. bad art, everything is interesting) in a technological age when all knowledge is accessible to everyone in contrast to a time when there was privileged information. The relationship between the speaker and the audience becomes quite antagonistic.
