Jonathan Berger, Visiting Artist Lecture 2015

Interdisciplinary artist Jonathan Berger gives a lecture at Skowhegan talking about his interests in object making and working with exhibition sites. For Berger the exhibition site allows him to invite viewers to imagine radical event spaces that can take place. Berger also talks about his long term work with the Andy Kauffman estate, working with the photography of Bob Mizer, and becoming the gallery director of 80WSE in New York. Berger reflects on 80WSE as a space that has allowed him to cultivate the process of open thinking, and using hierarchy as a way to have new imaginations be released.
