Gregory Amenoff, Resident Artist Lecture 1991

Beginning with autobiographical information, Gregory Amenoff presents a slide presentation of his paintings from 1973 onwards. Earlier works are not referred to by name; later works are. Included in his narrative are commentaries about paintings which he considered important in setting new directions for him, as well as influences on his work. Amenoff shows work by Hilma af Klimt, Bill Traylor, Joseph Yoakum, John Searle, Frank Jones, and Martino Ramirez.
