Ernesto Pujol, Resident Artist Lecture 2009

Artist Ernesto Pujol spans his lifetime as an artist in this lecture at the Skowhegan. Beginning with early installations and ending with recent durational performance pieces that address the artist’s concerns in the cultural, social and political arenas, the speaker makes particular reference to the evolving historical significance of whiteness, the importance of finding space for silence in contemporary society, and how he incorporates time and religious concepts in his work.
