Daniel Bozhkov, Fresco Lecture 2004

Daniel Bozkhov gives a lecture talking about his interdisciplinary practice which spans fresco, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, video, performance, social practice and installation. Throughout the lecture, Bozkhov shows a series of slides and video clips that explore his intense research based practice from which he creates a wide range of projects that are often done both individually and collaboratively. Bozkohv’s research manifests in many different ways, touching upon themes that range from but are not limited too; art history, science, mythology, history, ecology, labor, and memory. Bozkhov also talks in detail about his pedagogical practice which ranges from teaching art history throughout universities but also his many years of teaching fresco at Skowhegan as well.
