Brice Marden, Resident Artist Lecture 1970

Brice Marden gives a lecture talking about the history of painting. He shows a series of slides covering different motifs in painting: landscape, still life, portraiture, and narrative paintings. Marden mentions many artists throughout the lecture, spanning different periods and centuries: cubism, fauvism, impressionism, rococo, Baroque, flemish, and renaissance to name a few.
