Brice Marden, Special Lecture 1972

Brice Marden shows a series of slides of famous works of art to include a wide range of historical painters. The subject matter Marden touches upon ranges from portraiture, landscape, still life, and more. Marden in particular talks about Picasso being an artist who reintroduced subject matter into painting, and Cezanne being an artist who almost got rid of subject matter in his painting.
