Allen Ginsberg, Paul Mellon Distinguished Fellow Lecture 1994

Internationally acclaimed poet and writer Allen Ginsburg gives a lecture at Skowhegan. The lecture is split into two parts. The first part consists of Ginsburg singing and performing songs to the participants. Some of the issues that Ginsburg sings about include the history of poetry, reflections on meditation and spirituality, world peace and the war on drugs. The second part of the lecture consists of Ginsburg reading a selection of poetry from 1980-1994 that he shares with the participants.
