Experience Soundscapes with Dr. Sarah Wagner: scientist, educator, researcher, explorer, and photographer. Sarah will walk us through several rich soundscapes from various locations, including our beloved Maine.

Following her presentation, join us for a member bird song share where we share recordings or describe birdsong encounters. We’ll then walk through the Bird House Project.

Note that the Merlin Sound ID feature will launch on June 23rd! Use the app along with the information and tools shared by Nathan Pieplow during our meeting last month to record, identify, or share your birdsongs. Time permitting, there will be a tutorial during the meeting.

About the series:

Throughout 2021-2023, alums Pallavi Sen and Ash Ferlito started and led Skowhegan Bird (And Nature) Club, a series of programs for Skowhegan alums located around the world.
