Campus in Maine

Our School in Maine is not open to the public and we do not hold campus tours. As much as we would like to share this space and experience with everyone, the program is designed and intended as a private place for participating artists.

Our summer program includes public lectures with guest faculty members once a week. It’s an opportunity to connect with the School and fellow participants. For more information about the schedule of lectures each summer, please subscribe to our newsletter.

Skowhegan NYC

We host public programs at Skowhegan NYC, our New York location in the Chelsea neighborhood. It is also where our offices and part of Skowhegan’s Archives are located.

For any information about the School, our offices are open Monday through Thursday, 9:30-5:30 PM.

Our Archives house books, photographs, videos, and ephemera related to the history of the School. We are able to accommodate in-person appointments to access this collection with advance notice. To book an appointment, please write to Lynn Perry, Archives Assistant at: archive@skowheganart.org

Unfortunately we are not able to provide digital access to our Archives at this time, but we are actively working to share select highlights in The Library.

Our public programs are free and open to all. We are an intimate venue and recommend RSVPs in advance. For full details and our programming calendar please visit Public Programs.
