Fabian Marcaccio, Resident Artist Lecture 1997

Argentine painter Fabian Marcaccio presents a philosophical and analytical lecture about his work and the general artistic context (including music, photography and literature) in which it was produced, touching on topics such as the various kinds of time (both in art and elsewhere), space, color, the change in the character of photography as a result of digitalization, and the dual nature of paintings as art objects and representations. The lecture is accompanied by slides of the artists’ paintings.
