William King, Resident Artist Lecture 1977

In this autobiographical lecture, Wiliam King talks to the Skowhegan participants and faculty about his painting and sculpture practice. King shows a series of slides explaining to the participants the wide range of materials he uses in his work; bronze, burlap, teracotta, walnut and mahogany wood, beeswax, brass, among others. In addition to his work, King also shows photographs of his family and friends, documenting his life through the years of becoming an artist.
