Sidney Simon, Special Lecture 1982

In his third lecture at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, artist and Interim Director Sidney Simon presents a comprehensive overview of his work, including both painting and sculpture, and a general autobiography. The artist’s appreciation of humor and inventiveness, and his use of them in his art, is evident from his description of the various works shown, most of which are identified by title.
